This year we're bringing our camps to a variety of different locations including your own backyard or nearby park. Grab your pod or group of friends and book today! Suggested booking times are 3hr per day, 4 or 5 times per week but you can book any time you like!

Our Private Camps, call POD camps are back again with even more options to choose from.  We send an experienced and fun instructor directly to you to deliver the camp theme of your choice!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Gather up to 8 of your besties, cousins or classmates (we need a min of 5)
  2. Decide on a theme.
  3. Decide on a week and time of day (AM or PM).
  4. Figure out who’s backyard (or nearby park) it will be held at.  They become the POD host!
  5. Ideally, the POD host should register first and let everyone else know the details.
  6. EACH camper will need to register themselves separately.  The price listed is PER child.
  7. Be sure to make note of your POD week, POD host and POD #. You’ll need this in order to register. (if you don’t know this yet take a minute and text the host. We’ll wait!)
  8. Our POD coordinator will be in touch with the POD host to set up and refine the details.

CAMP THEMES

PARKOUR: Perfect for campers who love to move, climb, run and jump! Campers will practice beginner parkour skills such as kongs, 2 footed long jumps, precision tight rope balancing using an obstacle-based program. During downtime they’ll learn how to make origami ninja stars and other fun crafts!

ARTS/CRAFTS/GAMES: Calling all creative kids! We’ll work on art techniques, go on scavenger hunts for collage materials and create everything from bracelets to sculptures and we’ll bring everything we need and clean up afterwards too.

BROADWAY: Sing, Dance and Act all week long! This camp culminates in a mini show at the end of the week using their favourite songs and scenes from musicals and movies.

DANCE: Learn the basics from Hip Hop to Ballet! Campers will learn a fun, age and level appropriate dance to perform at the end of the week

CARTWHEEL CRAZED: Now is the time to perfect that cartwheel! In this camp they’ll learn the basics of acro – think handstands, walkovers and of course, cartwheels!

TWEEN: They’ll do everything from TikTok 101 (online safety and the most popular dances), hair, nail and makeup tutorials, self confidence exercies and more! Ages 9+

FAQ'S

I'm the host. Do I have to be at home during the Pod camp?

Yes, the pod camp host must be at home and available for the duration of the camp morning or afternoon.

Can I change or alternate host houses during the week?

No, the pod host must remain constant for the duration of the week. If you have special circumstances affecting your group please contact us for details.

What happens in case of inclement weather?

In the case of rain, we simply keep going! If there is lightning or other unsafe weather we ask that the host have a garage, covered patio or basement that can be used for camp activities.

Can my under 4yr old child or sibling of a camper participate in camp?

Children aged 3yrs old as of the day of the camp may participate in the camp along with a caregiver who remains at arm’s length for the duration of the camp.

We cannot accommodate children under 3 years old.

Where do we meet our instructor?

Your entire pod and participants will meet at the pod host’s home.  If your pod is travelling to a nearby park they must meet and check in at the pod host’s home first.

Where is Camp Dismissal?

Dismissal will occur at the pod camp host’s home at the same place as check in.

Can I mix or customize camp themes?

Camp themes are pre-tested with activities, games and equipment specific to certain age groups and instructors who specialize in each theme therefore we cannot accommodate any changes, customizations or mixing of themes.

I have a pool, can we swim at the pod camp?

No. Swimming in pools either public or private is not permitted during pod camps. Sprinklers, water balloons and water play is welcome!

My backyard is small, can the camp be held at a nearby park?

If the average age of the pod camp participants is 6 years old or older, your camp can be held at a nearby park.  Hosts still need to be at home and available during the camp.

If the average age of the pod camp participants is 5 years or younger, the pod camp must be held in the host backyard only.

What locations do you serve?

Our main area of service is South Mississauga.

We also serve Oakville, Etobicoke (south of Queensway and west of Royal York) and Milton*

  • Please clearly label all personal items with the student’s name
  • Water bottle with name clearly marked
  • 2 snacks (nut-free)
  • Outdoor appropriate gear including hat, raincoat, boots, etc
  • Extra play clothes.
  • No jewellery or cell phones.
  • Personal hand sanitizer.
  • All personal belongings packed into one bag.
  • Any other items that may be needed specific to your child’s camp theme will be emailed prior to the start of camp. *ie: dress like a lion on Tuesday!

  • Play clothes that are ok to get messy in
  • Climate-appropriate clothing – dress for the weather!
  • Comfortable clothing that the camper can easily move in, such as shorts, a t-shirt, leggings, etc.
  • Please do not wear skirts, dresses, or extra baggy clothing.
  • Please apply sunscreen prior to camp arrival.
  • Due to Covid protocols, our instructors will not be able to assist children with sunscreen applications.

We’re here to ensure your children will have the fun, educational and SAFE experience they’re used to at The School.

Our instructors are CPR-C certified, Vulnerable sector checked, and we follow all safety protocols.

At The School, we’ll be adhering to the province of Ontario’s COVID regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment.

We have multiple measures in place to keep our clients SAFE:

  • All campers will be signed out when picked up at the designated meeting area. Capacity is strictly limited to allow for proper supervision.
  • Staff and instructors will wear a mask/PPE at all times and/or in accordance to Ontario regulations at the time of camp.
  • Students should wear a mask while using public facilities or private washrooms.  Hand sanitizing/hand washing will be mandatory before/after each activity and during an activity when needed.
  • Only equipment/materials that can be sanitized will be used. Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed to participate.

  • CAMPS are booked for either morning or afternoon sessions for 5 consecutive days. (4 days during stat holiday weeks)
  • Pod camps are offered for ages 4 – Teen (Ask us about our custom Tween camps!!)
  • Children under 4 years old cannot attend a POD camp without a parent/caregiver at arms length.
  • Choose what activity you would like for your pod and we match you with the fun instructor appropriate for your group.
  • Minimum of 5 children per pod, Maximum of 8
  • If the average age of the children is under 5 years old the POD must be held at a family backyard.
  • If the average age is over 5 years we can hold your POD at a nearby park.
  • You must know the other participants and co-ordinate your POD camp yourself.  We cannot match you with an available POD.
  • POD host must be at home and available during the entirety of the camp.
  • POD hosts must sign a waiver of liability assuming responsibility for all participants.

  • All camp themes will be adjusted to fit your pod’s age group.
  • Our instructors will arrive with all materials necessary, including athletic, crafts, and sports equipment.
  • All of our themes are tested and guaranteed to provide a safe and fun camp experience for your kids!
  • All camp themes are pre-determined and cannot be changed once pods are paid for.
  • We are unable to accommodate custom themes at this time, but we will work with our POD host to ensure the activities are geared towards your group’s interests.
