This level is for our littlest dancers who are attending class by themselves for the first time. This class is 30 mins.

Through the RAD’s Dance To Your Own Tune curriculum, children will explore ballet foundations.  Emphasis on basic ballet technique continues to grow the dancer’s sensitivity to music through movement.  We use lots of props and storytelling to keep our dancers engaged and focused.

Your subscription starts as soon as you complete the checkout. Your first class will be THIS Saturday. *We are closed from Dec 18th – Jan 2nd 2022* No refunds or makeup classes are offered on pay-as-you-go pricing.

Description

What to wear to Ballet class…

We want our students to feel confident and comfortable.  Dress code requirements are for safety reasons and technical development and are applicable to all genders.

All additional garments (t-shirts, tanks, hoodies, etc) worn on top of the dress code must be “The School” branded.

Please wear a bodysuit and pink ballet tights OR  black leggings & form-fitting tank or plain t-shirt. Hair should be secured off the face and into a bun.

SHOES: Pink or Black leather or canvas ballet shoes are required with elastics.  **No gymnastic slippers please.

Optional: ballet skirt, white ankle socks, dance sweater.

What to bring?

Please clearly label all personal items with the students name:

  • All personal belongings packed into one bag.
  • Water bottle with name clearly marked.
  • Mask for the lobby/washroom breaks and personal hand sanitizer.\
  • Please don’t bring jewellery/watches or cell phones.
