Creative Arts Camps at The School are exciting, engaging and fun for kids aged 4-10. Campers will explore arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, dance, gymnastics and more in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. Instructors are vulnerable sector checked, first aid certified and follow all safety protocols.

Our creative arts camps are held indoors in our air-conditioned facility. All studios and lobby areas have powerful ceiling fans and our industrial-grade air exchangers in each studio ensure strong airflow throughout.

Please clearly label all personal items with the students’ name

  • Water bottle with name clearly marked
  • 2 snacks (nut-free) 
  • Separate pair of indoor running shoes OR dance shoes with name clearly marked.
  • Outdoor appropriate gear including a hat, raincoat, boots, etc 
  • Extra play clothes.
  • No jewellery or cell phones.
  • 2 masks and personal hand sanitizer.
  • All personal belongings packed into one bag.
  • Please apply sunscreen prior to camp arrival. Due to Covid protocols, our instructors will not be able to assist children with sunscreen application.
  • Any other items the may be needed specific to your child’s camp theme will be emailed prior to the start of camp. 
  • Play clothes that are ok to get messy in!
  • Indoor running shoes or dance shoes (ballet/jazz)
  • Comfortable clothing that the camper can easily move in, such as: shorts, t-shirt, leggings, etc.  Please do not wear skirts, dresses, or extra baggy clothing. 
  • Please apply sunscreen prior to camp arrival. Due to Covid protocols our instructors will not be able to assist children with sunscreen application.
  • All campers must complete and submit the Covid questionnaire answering “NO” to all of the questions before entering the facility or participating in a program. 
  • All campers (over 5 years) will be signed in/out and dropped off/picked up at the door.
  • One adult per child under 5 years allowed in the lobby.
  • Capacity is strictly limited to allow for social distancing or in accordance to Ontario’s regulations for capacity limits. 
  • Campers will participate in the same cohort/group for the week.  Groups will not interact with each other and will remain separated during all breaks and activities. 
  • Students will participate while socially distanced.  Studios are clearly marked to help each student enjoy class while keeping 6 ft from each other.
  • Staff, instructors, students and anyone entering the building must wear a mask. 
  • Staff, students, and instructors must wear a mask while participating in a class/program.  Mask breaks will be offered throughout the day. 
  • Staff and instructors will wear masks during outdoor time.  Campers must only wear a mask outdoors IF they can not socially distance.
  • High touch surfaces are sanitized frequently including before, after and during classes
  • Hand sanitizing/hand washing will be mandatory before/after each activity and during an activity when needed.
  • Only equipment/materials that can be sanitized will be used. Hand-held props will not be used by more than one child per activity time.
  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed to enter the space.
  • We will be using a fogger to disinfect the facility and a product called    Neutra-lyze. If you would like more information on this product (a completely safe, non-toxic, ingestible CFDA approved electrolyzed saline solution) just let us know and we will be happy to send your our fact sheet.

1:00pm-4:30pm | Pick up begins at 4:20 PM

I can't say enough about The School!! I had my two daughters in their Summer Camp program recently and they absolutely loved it. Each week offered a different theme; with an opportunity to show off what they learned in a small show at the end of the week. From singing, dancing, crafts and outdoor play, it was never a dull moment at The School. The staff really connected with the children, and tailored the activities to their needs and interests. We will certainly be back!

I've had wonderful experiences here with my toddler and my kindergartener. We've done drop-in free play, a week of summer camp, registered programs for ballet and ninja parkour, and tried out other dance and gymnastics drop-ins. I have been so impressed with the quality of the lessons, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, and the beauty and functionality of the space. Our family will be coming here for activities ongoing. And I love that we can walk there from home as a healthier option for our bodies and our environment! Thanks and keep up the great work!
